Summary
Stool. An oak boarded stool. Oak finished with linseed oil, wax and ammonia to age the seats. The board edges and aprons are shaped with cut-outs to form individual feet. They are held together with wooden dowels and wedged tenons.
Provenance
This piece was made by Paul Northwood, Llangunllo Powys in 2011. The furniture and fittings were commissioned especially for the Tudor Merchant’s House by Dr Charles Kightly.
