Summary
Leaded lights from the Flat sitting room windows on the ground floor. The Flat sitting room has three windows to the courtyard elevation which are in timber frames, they are divided by a single transom. The lead is ¼” round section. The window nearest the entrance has 3 lights; the outer 4 panels have opening casements- Crittal type. The other two windows have two lights each. All of the panels to these windows are opening casements- Crittal type. The glass is all English antique cylinder glass. There are no tie bars suggesting that the panels have steel cores within the leads supporting the panels- it should be noted that there are remains of copper ties to the fixed lights which were not used for some reason. The single light to the east elevation is an opening casement – Crittal type, leaded in diamond quarries- and rather crudely wrought. The glass is a mixture of modern cylinder glass with a scattering of early broad glass.
