Summary
Leaded lights from the Great Chamber window on the first floor. The Great Chamber has two 6 light windows glazed in diamond quarries with timber frames, divided by a single transom. Lights b and e on the lower tier have opening casements. The lead is 3/8” flat section. The glass has some English antique cylinder glass, but a large percentage is important and beautiful late medieval broad glass. There are two knock in type tie bars per light with copper ties. Light b in the right hand window has a nice example of an original 17thC casement frame with a sprung catch.
