Summary
Plate, ironstone china, slightly lobed rim, foot rim, G.M. & C.J. Mason, Lane Delph ,Stoke-on-Trent, ca 1820-25; transfer printed in black with the 'Vase and Table' pattern, decorated with overglaze enamels in red, pink, green, blue, yellow and orange, at the centre a Chinese-style archaic vase with bamboo stem behind, with a scholar's rock with nest on top to the right, a swimming bird between, around the flange a repeating border pattern of green fretwork and grey stylised clouds, with pink flowers with blue foliage between.
