A pair of gilt and gilt-thread shoulder epaulettes with a twisted thread fixed fringe. The central boss has 'VR' marked and a button is numbered '52'. The maker is Moore, Oxfordshire. These are contained within a tin box marked 'The Earl Brownlow' and dated 1851. Thought to be part of the Lord Lieutenants dress uniform.
