Summary
A pair of matching ewers and basins each chased with bands of flowers on matted ground and with matted shellwork borders. The ewers with beaded scroll handles. Made by Richard Sawyer of Dublin and dated 1829 and 1830. Given as christening presents to Adelbert Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow (1844-1921) and Adelaide Talbot later Countess Brownlow (1844-1917) by Queen Adelaide.
