Summary
One of a set of six ebonised beech and upholstered chairs, probably Dutch, circa 1880. In the style of Indian ebony chairs produced in the late 17th / early 18th century. Each with a padded back panel within a carved frame and held by twist turned supports, the overstuffed seat with an apron carved with a twin scroll and dragon motif and raised on conforming twist turned legs and stretchers.
