Summary
An ebony and bone parquetry inlaid and ebonised three tier occasional table or étagère, French, circa 1870. With a drawer to the top tier, the interior veneered in burr ash, above two shelf tiers and raised on turned legs. The geometric ebony top with a central cartouche inlaid with floral scrolling designs and with a line inlaid border and floral medallions to the corners.

Purchased with a grant from the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) from Edward John Peregrine Cust, 7th Baron Brownlow (b.1936) in 1984.
