Summary
Watercolour and gum over pencil, Woman with dog daisy by Louisa Anne Stuart, Marchioness of Waterford (Paris 1818 – Ford 1891). A woman, full length, facing towards the left of the picture, and holding a daisy with both hands. She stands before a green bank, out of which grow two slim tree trunks, with leaves. Beyond these is blue sky. There is gum on some of the leaves and folds of the skirt. Related Works Comment - Girl with Ox Eye Daisy, was the title of a picture loaned by Lady Fitzgerald to the Carlton House Terrace Exhibition 1910 Exhibit No.221. Date - 1870-85.
