Watercolour on paper, Study for the Group on the right of the Mural of Jesus blesses the Children in Lady Waterford Hall, Ford, Northumberland by Louisa Anne Stuart, Marchioness of Waterford (Paris 1818 – Ford 1891), circa 1870. From left to right a woman, in left profile, kneeling holding a child, behind her, two small children. Then another woman, standing in left profile, her head turned to look behind her. Beside her a girl walking, holding her hand and pointing to something on the ground. Behind them, a bearded man places his hand on the woman's shoulder. Before him, though removed to foreground, is a seated infant. On the extreme right, a male figure leans forward and checks the progress of another infant.
