Summary
Sepia wash on paper, Study for the Figure of David in the Mural David the Shepherd in Lady Waterford Hall, Ford, Northumberland by Louisa Anne Stuart, Marchioness of Waterford (Paris 1818 – Ford 1891), circa 1867. Young man, full length in tunic, standing with his body turned to the front, but displaying right facial profile. His right arm rests on his hip, in his left he holds a staff. His left leg is positioned a small pace in advance of the right.
