Summary
Etching, Autumn after Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema RA, (Dronrijp 1836 – Wiesbaden 1912). A late 19th century etching showing a curved stone seat with carved composite animal end pieces and several figures. A bearded man sits in the centre, two younger figures sit to one side and a couple to the far right. All wear middle eastern dress. A Latin inscription is carved on the seat back. Framed.
