Black chalk and watercolour on paper, Katherine Hariet Kinloch,Lady Brownlow (d1952) by Olive Snell (Durban fl.1910 – d.1955). Signed. Letter from 6th Lord Brownlow to his aunt, Nina Cust in March 1929: 'I had a rather lovely watercolour sketch done of Kitty while on the boat by a woman called Olive Snell, who although rather hackneyed in her work has produced something I think quite likeable'. Katherine Hariet Kinloch, Lady Brownlow (d.1952) was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir David Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 11th Baronet Kinloch (1856-1944) and Elinor Lucy Bromley Davenport (d.1943). She married on 18th October 1927, as his first wife, Sir Peregrine Francis Adelbert Cust, (1899-1978) 6th Baron Brownlow of Belton
