Summary
Medal in the form of a cross on blue silk ribbon. Coat of Arms of the City of London and Earl Beaconsfield on obverse, with inscribed 'B' and coronet below. Arms of the Marquess of Salisbury on reverse. Thin metal strip at top with pin and clasp. In red leather box tooled in gold, lined in purple silk. Lid decorated with crown, Prince of Wales' feathers and one other crest, with the words 'J.W. Benson./ 25, Old Bond St/ London.'
