Summary
Sculpture, bronzed plaster, Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield (1804-1881). Bronzed plaster statue on patterned base by Lord Ronald Gower, Paris 1878-9. Made at time of Berlin Congress. Seated, in Garter robes, facing half right with arms and legs crossed. Chair has swan neck arms and legs in the shape of gryphons. Inscribed across the middle of the chair back 'Ronald Gower Paris 1878-79'.
