Summary
Carving knife and fork in red leather gold tooled case lined in blue velvet and silk. Both knife and fork have ivory handle bearing Beaconsfield arms on one side and female figure holding a laurel wreath on the other, above the words 'Peace and Plenty 1878'. Knife blade and metal part of fork marked with a sickle and the words 'Plenty. John Derby and Sons Makers Sheffield'. Metal plate decorated with Beaconsfield arms attached to exterior of case.
