Summary
A caned library bergere armchair, English, circa 1830. The rectangular back and seat with buttoned leather fitted squabs, the arms with padded leather rests and scroll terminals above a volute support, standing on reeded and tapering legs with brass cappings and castors, originally a simulated rosewood finish, but now faded.
