Reverse with label inscribed 'Coningsby Disraeli. D.L.' and a second label reading 'A.J. Mucklow and Son/ Picture Frame Makers/ 35, Cranbourn Street,/ Leicester Square, London, W.' Maclise used the name Arthur Croquis.
