Print, engraving, Queen Victoria (1819 - 1901) on horseback at Osborne attended by her personal servant John Brown (1826 - 1883) after Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (London 1802 - London 1873). Print of a drawing with white heightening after Landseer. The Queen, in riding habit and hood, is on horseback at Osborne, reading letters. John Brown holding her horse's head with dog, box and scattered envelopes at his feet. Two ladies reading nearby. Gilt rectangular frame with rounded corners, green velvet (faded) and beading at edges. Frame surmounted by a crown on a cushion with ribbon below. Glazed. Presented by Queen Victoria. The frame is similar to that of NT/HUG/D/270.
