Summary
Pen and wash on paper, Emily Lindo (b.1796) by Daniel Maclise (Cork 1806 - London 1870). Second daughter of Ephraim Lindo. Signed 'D Maclise Jan. 1829'. Three-quarter length, seated with right hand in lap and left arm resting on arm of sofa. Part of a set of five portraits of Ephraim Lindo and his four children (see NT/HUG/D/230-4). Ephraim Lindo was the brother-in-law of Maria Disraeli.
