Maclise June 1828' A half-length portrait of Lord Beaconsfield's mother, seated on sofa, looking to her left, holding monocle in right hand, wearing elaborate white cap. Frame inscribed: 'Maria, wife of I D'Israeli.Esq ' Part of set of portraits by Maclise of Benjamin Disraeli and his parents (see also NT/HUG/D/134a,b and NT/HUG/D/136a,b).
