Summary
Print, line engraving, Sir Isaac Newton PRS (Woolsthorpe 1642 – Kensington 1727) (after Sir Godfrey Kneller) by Jacobus Houbraken (Dordrecht 1698 - Amsterdam 1780). 1702. Bust inscribed in circular frame with part pyramid off-centre behind and set on a plinth with figures of science set in roundel. Mathematical instruments scattered around and a rococo lamp burns on the plinth.
