Square dial painted on metal; square glass panel below painted with fruit with floral surround; surround of cross-veneered wood. c. 1850. h. 66, w. 39.5, d. 10.5 Label inside door -- 'V. Leigh-Hunt. Given to me in 1959 by Lady Chance of Lancrigg, Grasmere, where it has been for more than fifty years.' Conservation R. Cox, Nov. 88 - see report of same date.
