Summary
A mid 19th century Sunday School Banner of painted silk suspended from a metal-covered wooden roller. Double-sided; some fading on exposed side, some tears at edges. 200 x 260cm; 72 x 96in. approx. Given by the Rev. George Brassington, Vicar of Dalton, and Trustees of Dalton Sunday School, c.1970, when it was found under floorboards of the Church of England School which closed down at that time. Deaccessioned.
