Summary
Silver cream jug, part of an Irish three piece tea service. The body of the basin is melon shaped (low and squat) and is divided into twelve segments. Heavily decorated with flowers and leaves, with floral finial. A boar's head is engraved on the central panel of the jug. The jug is wide lipped and stands on four legs. The hallmark is Dublin 1827. Makers mark J.L.B (James Le Bass).
