Summary
A pair of photographs of pen and ink drawings of plans for part of the garden at Hanbury by George London. The originals are on deposit at the Worcestershire Records Office. Inscribed, perhaps in Thomas Vernon's hand, 'Mr London's draughts'. Both drawings agree with the birdseye view by Joseph Dougherty of 1732 and the one of the semi circle in the park indicates the viewpoints and is scaled, suggesting a width of 365 feet wide for this feature.
