Summary
Skylight window pulley system. A long metal rod attached to the opening skylight frame and threaded through a ring at one end with white cord which passes through a metal pulley attached to the fixed window frame. The cord then passes through a metal guide fixing, screwed to the wooden window surround below the window and then on down to the cord keeper. The keeper is a brass disc, decorated with concentric rings, on the end of a short rod screwed to the wall. The cord is wound around the rod and kept in place by the brass disc.
