Summary
Sword and scabbard.
Full description
Sword has brass handle with textured grip. Hand shield has a crown and anchor motif, top of handle has a lion with engraved detail. Scabbard is brown leather with brass mounts top, middle and tip. Each has engraved bands of decoration with stylized swirls and leaves, tip also has a flower.

Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940)
