Summary
Textile Box 136. A loose cover for an upholstered settee with a shaped back, and with arms the same height as the back. Glazed cotton, pink, green and beige flowers on a beige ground with maroon dots. Self piped edges. Hook and stitched eye fastening. Torn and faded, worn, patched and repaired badly. Patched with material as used on T/542. See also armchair cover T/579.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
