Textile box 55. Dark green woollen trousers with gold colour metal braid along outside seam, button fly, button fixings for braces, four tabs at hems with buttons and button holes, waist faced with red silk twill. Part of the uniform of the Royal Company of Archers, the Soveriegn's ceremonial bodyguard in Scotland. Circa early 19th Century. BL89.2*
