Summary
A matching pair of single eiderdowns. Rose and paisley patterned in pink bands, with plain pink borders. Self-coloured floral piping. Some fading. Good condition, stained and dirty. Labelled Lothian. From Givan's Irish Linen Stores. Goose-down, purified and hand-plucked. BL161.9-10.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
