Summary

Sampler by ‘Susanna Codd aged 12 August 10 1812’. House in centre with flower and tree motifs, two snails in bottom corners. Cross-banded veneered wood frame, glazed.

Provenance

Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
