Summary
Print, chromo-lithograph, Queen Mary I (Mary Tudor) (1516–1558) (after Hans Eworth) by Henry Shaw (London 1800 – Broxbourne 1873). Three-quarter length, head turned to her right, wearing a gold-embroidered robe with slashed sleeves, and under-robe and black wrap, lace collar and cuffs hands clasped. Painted and giltwood frame with royal coat-of-arms, tudor roses, and border of turquoise studs, glazed. Label on frame 'Mary of England', 'AD1554'.
