Summary
Letter scales. Boule base with a figure of a boy kneeling on one knee on a pedestal. The boy holds an ormolu scroll support for a pivoting cannon with a slide-out brass rod with a marker which slides along cannon and is inscribed with weight marks - 4oz, 3oz, 2oz, 1oz, 1/5 and 1/4. End of cannon has a small hook, presumably for a counter-weight. Possibly a hanging pan hangs from the other end to hold a letter. Leather base. Inscribed on pedestal with H.B Wright 130 London.
