Summary
A set of ten facetted sweetmeat or ice-cream glasses, with wide tulip-shaped bowls decorated with a horizontal band of diamond cutting, set on inverted baluster stems and conical feet. Six glasses are intact, four are chipped or cracked. English 19th century.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
