Summary
A mahogany and inlaid games table, English, late 19th century, 18th century style. The detachable top enclosing boards for chess and backgammon above single drawers to each side on cabriole legs with carved hips and pad feet.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
