Summary
Wheelchair. Mahogany-framed with cane back and sides, leather padded arm rests and leather buttoned seat. Sliding front rest upholstered with small piece of carpet. Turned front legs. Metal-rimmed mahogany wheels with mahogany outer wheel. Wheel hub stamped 'Ward, Leicester Square, London'. Brackets on top rail for hand rail. Brackets on inside of arms to hold tray or bar.
Provenance
Belonged to the 8th Marquess of Lothian Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940)
