Summary
An oak chair, English, late 19th century, late 17th century style. With a central caned panel, carved back with baluster turned supports. the seat with baluster turned legs tied by stretchers. lacking caned seat (replaced with linen seat) and with later loose red wool squab cushion.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
