Summary
Candle sconce. Probably Meissen, late C19. Highly decorated applied ceramic flowers and feathers with naked lady and child below in front of a red and gold brocade drape. Two ceramic candle holders on ceramic arms.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
