Candle sconce. Probably Meissen, late C19. Highly decorated ceramic wall plaque with applied flowers and feathers, with figure of naked lady and child in front of a red and gold brocade drape. 2 ceramic candle holders on ceramic arms.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
