Summary
Pot pourri basket. English. Circa 1830. Painted with exotic birds in a white reserve with gilt borderon a rose pompadour ground. Two gilt handles, and four gilt paw feet. Interior with large gilt design. Possibly decorated by Madely.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
