Pen tray. From a desk set. Rounded rectangular pen tray with two ridges for pen rest, earthenware. Yellow and pale blue mythical figures holding red ribbons on dark blue ground with scrolls and urns. Border of yellow foliage. Gien factory, nr Orleans, France, c.1880-1920.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
