Summary

Interior. Wall painting. Cross shaped design, possibly comprising 4 stylised lily stems, with flowers at the end. This may have Marian associations and would therefore have been proscribed at this time; or perhaps an early description of a lily cross - a christian symbol representing purity, resurrection and the promise of etermal life. Further research required
