Summary

Crucifix with plaster figure of Our Lord given by Cecilia, Marchioness of Lothian, to Esmeralda Hare. According to Rebecca Dulcibella Orpen the crucifix is Spanish, see legend on doors of triptych BAD/P/56 in chapel: 'This crucifix was given by Cecil, Marchioness of Lothian to Esmeralda Hare and later bequeathed by her brother Augustus Hare to Rebecca Dulcibella who was his cousin'.
