Summary
Bronze religious medal in square, red leather box. Depicting relief of exterior of Oscott College "COLEGIVM SANCTAE DE OSCOTT" on obverse and relief of college chapel with "VIRGINI DEIPARAE" around edge on reverse. Around edge of Medal "GT. EXTRVCTUM.SEMINARIVM.ET.ECCLESIAM.DEDICATAM:ANNO.SALVTI.M.C/O.CCC.XX..VIII". Probably relates to Marmion Ferrers' time at Oscott College, Sutton Coldfield. 01.11.00 Oscott College says this medal commemorates the opening of Oscott College in 1838. Original college, which was founded in 1794, was in Old Oscott.
