Summary
The large armchair from a leather-upholstered and oak-framed set of seat furniture, English, circa 1910. Comprising a set of six chairs, one large armchair and a chaise longue, all covered in green leather, each toprail with foliate-carved detail matched on the chaise longue in the tablet of the back armrest, each with moulded frame and bulbous reeded legs with castors, the chairs with finials to the uprights, the armchair with rosette arm terminals, the chaise longue with overswept end and rosette terminal.
