Summary
Dress sword with gilt metal hilt and gilt-tipped leather scabbard. Foliar engraving on blade plus two crossed flags, crest of a deer/hart passant and conjoined initials CIB. On the reverse are similar engravings plus monarch's crown. Gold braid ribbon attached to hilt.
Provenance
Acquired by the National Trust in 1980 as part of the house, estate and collection transferred from Thomas Ferrers-Walker.
