Summary
A fine white Egyptian cotton vestment, possibly a vergers gown. Circular shape, long wide winged sleeves, central front opening secured by fabric covered buttons. In the back of the head opening is a handsewn and handwritten cotton label reading; Tyntesfield Chapel. This is overstitched with a tape to hang the garment. One underarm is torn.
