Summary
Pen and ink on paper, Men playing cards by Jean Georges Vibert (Paris 1840 - Paris 1902). Showing two men playing cards, one on the right leaning against a pillar, wearing a hat and knee length breeches. Man on the left wearing a long robe and knee length breeches. In bottom left-hand corner, written in black ink: J. G. Vibert 1874. In right-hand corner, also on drawing: A. Mongin. Swlp.shlt. On border beneath drawing in left-hand corner written in script in pencil: A. Mongin. In right corner on border: J.G.Vibert No 40. On separate piece of paper stuck on to border: PARTIE INEGALE. Stuck into the book.
