Summary
Watercolour on paper, on left-hand page opposite (NT32850.17) showing a seated female in pink and white frilly clothes having a pink shoe fitted to her right foot by a kneeling male figure in eighteenth century costume, with a black hat on the floor beside him. Behind the seated female figure is a draped bed and a maid holding a tray. Behind the maid is a decorative screen and open double doors with decorative plasterwork above. In a mirror to the right of the picture can be seen the face of a bemused man peering through the door. A pile of discarded clothes lie on the floor in the foreground to the left of the picture. To the bottom right it reads: Livios Rossi.
